1. You're Frustrated...Congrats!
It means you’re moving in the right direction.
Entrepreneurs, growth can be challenging and downright infuriating at times. We want to make progress fast, experience rocketship growth and it feels like the only thing getting in your way of where you want to be is GROWTH.
When you’re on the entrepreneur’s journey this can happen when you look at only two parts of your journey where you are and where you want to be and forget to include where you've been. When we forget this we see the struggles we're encountering as an indictment of our abilities instead of the next level in growth on our journey.
Next time you're feeling frustrated as an entrepreneur or with the progress you’re startup is making then see it as a compass pointing you in the direction of where you need to continue growing and push hard in that direction.
2. I’m An Entrepreneur Now, How Do I Do This?!
It's a question we all encounter when trying to master a new area and it's one of the ones we seldom share or ask others for help with. As entrepreneurs and founders of companies, we feel like we need to be the ones to have all the answers.
So many times when we feel like this we think we need to become a semi-expert on a subject before we can reach out for help.
And, with this type of approach, your progress is slow and you make more mistakes along the way. Which is the opposite of what you need to scale your startup.
If you’re looking to make progress rapidly do these three simple things: 1) embrace being a novice when you are, 2) share with others the areas you have mastered, and 3) find a group where you can do both of these things at the same time. Combining all three together you will learn faster and build deeper, longer-lasting relationships.
