1. Entrepreneur Myths

Myths tell a story, a parable of our history.

And, for entrepreneurs, there are many of these myths from the lone genius to the unflinchingly passionate founder.

The purpose of myth is to provide us with meaning and show us the potential in our efforts. And, this is why in a moment startup myths have the power to inspire you or break your heart on your journey.

This is why it’s imperative for entrepreneurs to question mythology when it acts as an impediment instead of inspiration for our efforts. By doing so we advance entrepreneurship into new possibilities of growth and inclusion for our venture and for the community we are part of.

Check out one of these myths I posted about this week.

2. From Noticeable To Remarkable

To be remarkable is to be worthy of being noticed especially as extraordinary.

To be noticeable is to be worthy of attention.

To be remarkable is exponentially different than noticeable because the attention from being remarkable is due to being extraordinary.

As entrepreneurs, it’s important to garner attention, but attention is fleeting. It’s by being extraordinary we achieve longevity. This is why as founders we should be asking ourselves how we can move our work from noticeable to remarkable.
